ὡς ἐν ἄλλῳ κόσμῳ - "As if in another world" (Desiderius Erasmus)

Slowly my brain processes the information that I will be living on Crete for the next 6 months and so also the anticipation grows. The first dissapointment of not being able to stay in Turkey has passed and now I can use the next two weeks in Vienna to prepare for Greece.

There is so much to explore such as the Greek mythology with all its Gods, the Greek letters and language, and so much more about the culture. For now, the famous quote by Sokrates comes to mind: "The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing". But I plan on changing that by soaking up the Greek lore like a sponge as well as by familiarizing myself with the island. 

So now I gotta go learn how to express my first few phrases in Greek and dive into the ancient Greek world of Eros, Zeus, Heracles and Aphrodite.....
