The countdown is on.... my last few days in Vienna!

The countdown of my last few days in Vienna has started and besides packing and all  the important errands I have to run, I try to enjoy the time in the big city I will very soon leave behind. Luckily the sun finally found Vienna and so I decided to buy a small BBQ grill and turn my balcony into a gourmet zone of smoky aromas and tasty delicacies.

Talking about food, I also want to mention a great evening with my former colleagues at a nice Greek restaurant in Vienna. A culinary foretaste of the amazing food that is waiting for me in Greece combined with the best company anyone could ask for, that's such a good way of spending a spring evening in the city. But it did also remind me of how much I will miss everyone I am leaving behind.

One of the highlights was definitely the Vienna City Marathon with its victorious atmosphere and incredible vibes. It was there where I decided that I should start running again and on the spur of the moment I registered for next year's marathon as soon as I came back home afterwards - of course only the half marathon :) . But I couldn't ask for a better scenery for my training than beautiful beaches and the sound of the sea lapping the shore in my ears. I am convinced that these circumstances and the fact that it's still a year, are enough so I have a chance on surviving this....
At least I did already find the perfect motto for my training:

"Do a little more each day than you think you possibly can." (Lowell Thomas)
