Eleftherna - or on the search for the untraceable triangle bridge

I have been planning to visit Eleftherna for a long time and last wednesday, when we didn't have our weekly office meeting, I finally had the chance to go there. Actually I didn't expect it to be so big and spacious but there were several different sites where you had to drive for a few minutes.

So we first visited the old Eleftherna church with the white graveyard behind it, and then continued to the cisternas and walking paths. There we met this weird guy who smelled like he didn't shower for at least a month and wanted to offer us his services as a guide which we kindly rejected. It must have been a long time since he last visited a bigger town cause he always asked for 300 drachmas, not knowing that Greece introduced the Euro over a decade ago.

On the way back, I took my first pictures with this fantastic macro mode on my camera that I didn't know about before. The little insect in front of my lense was not that nice actually and looked really disgusting but since it was just the outside left without the actual animal, I wasn't too scared to go closer and take a nice picture. To the right you can see the result.
