Three days off in a row - DAY 1: Patsos Gorge and Lake

Day 1 of my 3 consecutive days off, we went hiking to Patsos. This was a very lovely gorge that felt like a little adventure.

Starting as an easy walk, it got more and more difficult over time, when there where ropes to hold on to to get down the rocks, ladders and other little helping devices to make it through.We saw many people giving up on the way and returning but we bore up and made it till the end. 

After this rather tiring hike, you end up on the lake of Patsos and then you hitch-hike back to the entrance of the gorge to spend some time in the lovely taverna where the delicious food helps you to recharge your batteries.
