A suitcase packed with hopes and dreams.....

  As the days keep passing by and the departure to my 2 weeks training in Turkey comes closer and closer, preparations, packing and arranging things have started and eventually the "getting ready"-time has gotten the upper hand. Everything seems to be happening so fast now. I still remember flying out to Zurich last October being all nervous about the upcoming assessment center when it all started with presentations and tons of tasks I had to go through. I still recall thinking it would take forever for that day to come when everything would change and I could leave for a nice holiday location with 100% pure summer feeling where I would be living for 6 months.  But that day just sneaked up on me faster than I expected and when I got my work uniform delivered a few days ago, I figured it was time to get ready and run some final errands:

With a little help of a lovely friend, I bought this really nice camera that will accompany me wherever I go and whatever place I will be exploring. And I also got this nice tablet pc that will keep me connected with all my friends and family as long as I am away. But the greatest part actually was when I bought some sunscreen and its awesome smell just put me right back in that holiday mood that I almost lost in between all that wind and snow of the last few days.

So basically all I gotta do now is to make sure that my suitcase isn't just filled with hopes and dreams but actually also contains some of those other things that might come in handy when spending a few months in a different country. Let's see how that goes....
