"Gramvousa - spend some time in paradise" proclaims the information brochure with its incredible pictures of the island. Arriving at Gramvousa, you have the chance to climb up the rock for about 20 minutes to enjoy the beautiful view down from the fort. After all the effort of this steap hike, I enjoyed my lunch on the boat that brought us to Ballos where we had the chance to swim and enjoy the beautiful surroundings after waddling through knee-deep water. It was the first time for me to finally swim in the water as so far it has always been too cold for me. But there the temperatures were of course a bit higher since the water in the laguna was not that deep and it felt really good to refresh myself in the crystal clear water. Since we enjoyed the beach very much, time passed by a bit too quickly and when we started approaching the boat , it already blew its horn as to signalize that they were about to leave so we had to run through the water to make it on time. Finally we stopped on our way to Chania at Jumbo to go shopping once more and back in Rethymnon, we also enjoyed some Pizza at the end of the day beset by the most annoying kinds ever!!!....
